Energy Engineer/Analyst

This position requires an individual who is well versed in the engineering fundamentals used in identifying how energy is being consumed in commercial and industrial buildings and then has the ability to define energy conservation measures that are cost effective and practical to implement.  Enica’s focus on building automation will require the person in this position to have or willingness to obtain detailed knowledge of various building automation systems and programming.

Core Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or Technical Field
  • 5+ years of experience in building energy audit and analysis
  • Working knowledge of energy modeling in software and in spreadsheets
  • Working knowledge of energy economics
  • Strong client communication and management skills
  • Knowledge of energy audit and retro-commissioning process and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Working knowledge of NY/NJ utility incentive programs (ConEd, NYSERDA, NJ SmartStart)
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis
  • Energy Project Finance and Funding Methods

 Preferred  Computer Skills

  • Visual Basic, Carrier HAP
